Fitness freak Shakti Mohan is a dancer, actress (Dil Dostii Dance) and a diva. In a conversation with Tellychakkar.com, the talented lady shares her fitness mantra. Personal fitness mantra? My personal fitness mantra is to eat healthy food and work out. Personal diet mantra? I make sure that I eat right and consume more of salad, fruits and drink lots of water. Are you a foodie? No. I am not. Exercise routine? I am most comfortable when I start my workout with Yoga, followed by practicing Ballet and some other dance forms. Are you a vegetarian or a non-veg? Earlier, I was a strict vegetarian but of late I have started eating non-vegetarian food too. Favourite cuisine? I like eating Indian food. Favourite dish? Dal and roti are my favourite dishes. A must on your breakfast table? Fruits are a must on my breakfast table. Sugar or sugar-free tea/coffee? I prefer drinking green tea. Lunch generally consists of? I have a few chapatis with dal and vegetable. Dinner generally consists of? Since I prefer eating light food, it is mostly salad, but if my mother grumbles at my way of eating, I please her by having dal and chapati. Dessert delights? I love eating dessert and find it hard to resist the temptation. Specially, if I walk into a Chinese restaurant, I cannot resist honey noodles with ice-cream. My favourite drink (non-alcoholic)? My favourite non-alcoholic drink is lemonade. My favourite drink (alcoholic)? I do not consume alcohol but on occasions I prefer having white wine. Most unusual dish I have tasted? Since I travel a lot, I prefer being safe and stick to salad. Once at a particular hotel, salad was made in fish oil; it tasted very weird. Experiment with food? No, I do not experiment with food. On the streets I love to have? I like eating Bhelpuri. Do you cook? I cannot cook to even save my life. Fitness tip? Regarding health issues, it is very important to be disciplined hence one has to eat in a right manner. I cannot understand how people can avoid taking care of their health. I would also like to advise people to eat what is right for the stomach and not the tongue.
