Saras to get into the garb of a Shaikh to save Kumud in Star Plus' Saraswatichandra

Gautam Rode
It’s time for some disguise act in Star Plus’ Saraswatichandra (Sphere Origins) as the lead Saras (Gautam Rode) will change his look to save his dear wife Kumud (Jennifer Winget) in the coming episodes. As reported earlier by Tellychakkar.com, Kumud has been kidnapped by women of the sleazy Chandi bazaar and is being forced to get into the flesh trade. And all that because Kumud wanted to delve into her mother-in-law Gumaan’s (Monica Bedi) past who she happened to be a courtesan there once. Viewers have also been seeing the helpless Saras going around the city in the lookout for his wife who, he has realized, is in grave danger. And after getting a tip off from a person, Saras will head towards the infamous red light area to find his wife. But knowing well that he will not be able to get his wife easily, Saras will get incognito of a Shaikh to save his wife from the clutches of this sleazy business. Will Saras be able to reach the place? Will he manage to free Kumud? We tried reaching Gautam but he was unavailable to comment. Interestingly, Gautam had earlier also disguised himself as a Punjabi in the show. Seems like Gautam is definitely getting to enjoy a lot more shades in the character he plays in Saraswatichandra. Stay tuned for more.
