Amarr does a SRK in Doli Saja Ke

Doli Saja Ke witnesses a major twist with Amarr Upadhyay’s character turning negative. This twist will see Amarr behaving in a manner like Shah Rukh Khan did in Darr. Yes, ala Rahul, Samar (Amarr Upadhyay) will be making blank calls and slashing his wrist. So, what has brought about this sudden change in attitude of Samar? A little birdie from the sets informs, “All along, we’ve been showing how an unknown person is trying to keep Anupama and his family in confinement. Well, that person is none other than Samar. His character will turn negative. He’s madly in love with Anupama and is ready to do anything for her – be it slashing his wrist or giving her blank calls. Unlike Rahul of Darr, who wrote Kiran’s name on his chest with blood, Samar will carve Anupama’s name on his hand.” We tried contacting Amarr Upadhyay but he remained unavailable for comment. Interestingly, not too long ago it was reported that Samar will be marrying Anupama, a fact which was acknowledged by lead actress Barkha Bisht too. However, this new track seems to have taken one by surprise. Was this track formulated recently? Producer Aruna Irani begs to differ. She says, “In TV, tracks are created to suit the requirements. However, Samar’s character was always meant to be this way. Initially, we had to show him like a good guy and later the character was to turn negative.”
