Indian Idol racing up for a grand finale

With just a week left, Indian Idol 3 is heading towards an exciting and nailbiting final episode. The show will bring exciting moments from the musical journey of Amit and Prashant. As a run up to the most exciting grand finale, it's going to be a week long celebration on the show that will blaze tough competition between the two contestants. Here's a sneek peek into what to expect. Viewers will be surprised to see Prashant, as a Sepoy from Darjeeling, who bunked the police duty to audition for the show and Amit, who'll never forget his wild card entry will perform in front of Janta. Both will visit their respective native towns; Shillong and Darjeeling where the crowds in mind boggling numbers will try to get a glimpse of their favorite singers. Indian idol special Thursday episode Roobaroo will have all the four judges, whose months of hard work and training helped in short listing the country's best singing talent amongst thousands of aspirants. On Friday, Amit and Prashant will sing for the last time in front of the judges on Indian idol stage. The winner will be announced during the finale episode held in Delhi on September 23 after counting the votes. The event will be attended by Bollywood celebrities and dignitaries from various fields.
