I am definitely not satisfied with the quick wrap up of Jee Le Zara - Producer Shrishti Arya

Producer Shrishti Arya
With her show Kehta Hai Dil…Jee Le Zara all set to bid farewell to the TV screen on 8 May, Producer Shrishti Arya (Rose Audio Visuals) is taking things in her stride as she gears up to start her new journey with Jhalli Anjali Ke Tootey Dil Ki Love Story from coming week on Channel V. When asked what went wrong with Jee Le Zara, the lovely woman said, “Nothing went wrong, the show was doing favourably well on the channel. It was the channel’s decision to pull it off. With the channel’s new strategy of going the nonfiction way, I had nothing to say about it that.” So is there any bad blood between her and the channel, we wondered. “Not at all, why would it be. They have their planning, we have ours; we cannot interfere in each other’s workings. Although yes, if it would have been on my hand, I would have surely wanted the show to continue till its yearlong contract. I am definitely not satisfied by the way the show was wrapped up, but we have to move on. This is how the industry works,” Shrishti admitted. Talking about her new show, the cute woman with a million dollar smile averred, “It’s a very beautiful show but it’s all Niranjan Iyengar’s creation, so it would be unfair on my part to comment on the same. Niranjan is a great friend and we share a great understanding and trust. Together we are sure to bring a really ‘amazing’ story. Also it’s a comeback of our banner to youth shows after Remix, hence we are really excited. The cast is also relatively fresh and with a gripping storyline it’s going to be a wonderful show. Chandni (Bhagwanani) along with new boys will be the main protagonist,” she added. The leads of the popular show Remix became youth icons, is the producer hoping to recreate the magic? “I think we have always given very strong protagonists to the viewers and they have been well accepted. They all have the potential to become icons for the sole reason that they are so real,” she answered. Finally, any plans at the Bollywood front? “Most definitely, but there’s still time. And it’s a very exciting and thrilling time in TV and we are enjoying the phase. Movies will surely come up in the year end, which you all will get to hear soon of,” Shrishti concluded.
