Often when our Tellywood stars have nothing on their plate, they show up on reality shows either as contestants or as celebrity guests. Bubbly actress Sucheta Khanna, whose show Kadvi Khatti, Meethi went off recently, will be appearing on Comedy Circus Lage raho as a celebrity guest. That's not all; she'll be doing her first stand-up comedy act.
"I came here as a guest who had to perform. It's for the first time that I did stand-up comedy. It's been a complete different experience and I've enjoyed every bit of it" says Sucheta.

The Punjabi kudi is very keen on continuing her association with the show. "Talks are on and if all goes well, you'll see me again. Here you get to do something different. It's more like doing theatre. You perform at one go and you receive instant reaction from the audience" quips Sucheta.
Though not averse to comedy, Sucheta feels that stand-up is more challenging as once your timing goes awry, the enthusiasm too dies.
When asked what went wrong with Kadvi, Khatti, Meethi, she replied, "I have no idea. Personally, there were only gains for me as I learnt a lot from veterans like Sachinji and Reemaji."
Surprisingly, the actress isn't too worried that she's out of work. "I'm looking for interesting roles. I don't want to do the usual run of the mill stuff. Even if I don't get any work, I'll sit at home" said Sucheta.
Not much may be coming her way on TV, but Sucheta confesses that she's auditioning for a lot of so called multiplex films.
It looks like another Tellywood star has been bitten by the Bollywood bug!
