Sexy lass Sanah Khan who rose to fame after the Amul Macho ad will soon be seen shaking her hips on a item number in Zee's <em>Meri Doli Tere Anagana</em> this week.
Though not a professional dancer, Sanah chose to oblige her choreographer friend's call. " Habiba Rehman is a close friend and so I couldn't refuse her. I'm not a professional dancer plus this is a one-off thing. I was only obliging Habiba's call and as I don't aspire to be an item girl, " she says.

The Bombay girl is currently loaded with many offers but is most comfortable doing ads. "I like doing ads as they consume less time and you get good money for it" quips Sanah. Besides shooting for numerous ads, Sanah is honing her Tamil skills, as soon she'll be seen alongside actor Silambarasan, in a action film titled Silambattam. The flick is slated for a September release."
Though offers have poured in from Bollywood but Sanah refused to reveal about it now.
Talking of the controversy surrounding her Amul Macho ad, Sanah chides, "I just didn't expect such mixed reactions. While I've been praised by one and all, it's only this certain section of people who found it obscene. These women who organized a 'morcha' (protest) against me say that they couldn't watch it in front of their children. What I'd like to ask these women is that they don't seem to find it obscene when a man appears in an ad underwear."
While she invoked the wrath of self proclaimed moral gods, Sanah's family and friends are pretty cool about it. "My parents were aware of the script, but not once did they have any objections. My friends rate it the best. Besides everything, the brand's sale has shot up by 35 per cent. Most protestors who came up to me, couldn't even define the word toying" said Sanah.
Though a familiar face, Sanah is still an unknown name in most household. The Mumbai girl has already worked for brands like Emami, Chevrolet, AirTel and soon will be endorsing Parachute. A former art student of National College (Bandra), Sanah never dreamt of a career in films.
"I had attended a friend's party and it is here that I got introduced to a few people from the ad industry. So, that's how my journey began. I wanted be an Air Hostess as l love traveling" concluded Sanah.
She may not have become an Air Hostess, but Sanah Khan is certainly flying high
