Sandit Tiwari quits Big Magic's Mahi Sagar

Sandit Tiwari, the protagonist of Big Magic’s Mahi Sagar, produced by Hats Off Productions has quit the show for better prospects. Yes, you heard it right!! The actor is apparently not happy with the recent creative calls taken regarding the show. Our reliable source states, “Sandit was contemplating to leave the show for some time now. He had informed the production house nearly a fortnight back about his decision to move on in life. And today (8 May) will actually be Sandit’s last day on the set of Mahi Sagar.” With this information in hand, we called up the actor to get his version to this. And the actor was more than glad to confirm the news saying, “Yes, you have heard it right. I am quitting Mahi Sagar. I have to stress the point here that I am leaving on a happy note, and the moving out has happened amicably.” Ask him about the reason for quitting and he states, “Well, when Mahi Sagar started, it was something very different and unique. And certain changes in the story line have stagnated my growth as an actor. All I will say is that I am not happy with the creative decisions taken in the show. So I felt it is the right time to move on.” On his next plan, Sandit explains, “Well, I have been shooting non-stop for nine month now. So I will want a break for myself. Also I will love to do some challenging episodic roles. I am in talks for few new shows too. A short film of my friend’s has been in the pipeline for a long time now. So I am gearing up to do some different work.” We hear that the actor to replace Sandit in Mahi Sagar has not been finalized yet. We tried to get in touch with Producer J D Majethia, but could not get through to him. We will keep you updated on this. As for Sandit, we wish him luck!!
