Let your parents handle expenses, they know it better - Ankita Sharma

She dazzled the screen with her mesmerizing eyes and stunning beauty in shows like Baat Hamari Pakki Hai, Preeto, Amrit Manthan and is currently seen as the rustic beauty Laila in Color’s Rangrasiya. In conversation with Tellychakkar.com Ankita shares some tips with our readers on investment. How important is money to you? Money is extremely important; paisa hai toh sab kuch hai. It is very difficult to survive without money; it is our basic need. Are you an impulsive buyer? I am an extreme impulsive buyer especially when it comes to gold and clothes. If I like something I have to buy it, no matter what. What are the investments that you have made? I recently bought two flats in Delhi and a flat in Mumbai. What has been your most expensive purchase? Till now it has been my house in Mira Road (Mumbai) which cost me Rs 47 lakhs. But the next house that I am planning to buy is going to be more expensive. Do you feel financially secured? Yes, I can very confidently say that I am. But since humans are insatiable there is always a need to have more of everything and the same is with me too. Who handles your expenses? My dad usually handles my expenses. It’s either him or me doing the needful. What was your first salary? It was years back when I had earned my first salary of Rs. 600. I worked for a tele-film when I was in the 2nd standard and I felt extremely rich and happy with the money (laughs). How much money do you carry every day? I don’t carry much, only about Rs 2000-3000. I make it a point to carry my cards though. Your advice to new investors? Invest in property when it is at an affordable rate and maintain it as an asset for future use. And people in our industry where work is always uncertain, property can be a great resource. Also let your parents handle expenses, they know it better.
