Now, Nupur Alankar to play Phulwa's amma

Nupur Alankar will be replacing Reena Rani who plays Phulwa’s mother in Phulwa. A source says, “The production house has brought in actress Nupur Alankar to replace the Bhojpuri actress Reena. Reena was playing Phulwa’s mother Imarti on the show. “Reena had earlier done cameos in shows including Jhansi KI Rani and CID but this was her first full-fledged role. But now she has lost her chance due to lack of discipline and availability of dates. She used to walk out of the sets without even informing the production team and then getting her dates too was becoming a problem. So, we replaced her. Nupur starts shooting today.” Meanwhile, Nupur says, “Talks are on but nothing is confirmed yet.” Producer Siddarth Tewary says, "Had to replace Reena as she is suddenly not traceable and we need to shoot." Reena Rani remained unavailable.
