Makrand opts out: S.M. Zaheer in Ladies Special

Last week TellyChakkar reported that actor Makrand Deshpande was tipped to enter Ladies Special as a lawyer. We were informed by our sources that the production house had approached the actor to play the role of an advocate who would bail out Geeti. It was almost confirmed that he was on-board but things didn’t materialise owing to monetary issues. And now we hear that the production house has finalised on veteran S.M. Zaheer to essay the role that Makrand was approached for. Informs a source, “Makrand was the first choice and he was almost finalised but things didn’t work out due to monetary issues. He didn’t fit the budget so we opted for S.M. Zaheer. Zaheer is currently shooting for the show. His entry is expected to take place on Tuesday when Nanda finalises him to defend her daughter’s case.” S.M Zaheer was last seen in Rani Padmini on Sony Entertainment Television.
