Angad Hasija
The charming and easygoing stud, Angad Hasija glued the audience to their TV sets with his exceptional acting skills and raw take on the character of Alekh in the popular show Bidaai. He also dazzled the screen with his presence in other soaps like Phulwa, Savitri and Amrit Manthan. In a t?te-?-t?te with Tellychakkar.com the talented actor answered a few fun questions for our Quickie Section. What is your comfort food after a hard day’s work? Since I am always on a diet, I cannot really afford to have comfort food. But chocolate in the right sense is my comfort food after a hard day’s work. Most played songs on your iPod? The song that tops my playlist is the song Jo bheji thi dua from the movie Shanghai. If you were to get stuck somewhere with no phone or internet, where would it be and with whom? I would love to get stuck home alone with my daughter, my angel. Live-in or marriage? I think times are changing and it is entirely a person’s take to indulge in any one of them. I would go with live-in. Love is… Love is based on a firm foundation of trust and understanding. Sex is… Sex is a combination of honesty and love. Craziest rumor you have heard about yourself? Rajan Sir (Producer Rajan Shahi) told me that people actually thought I was mentally unstable and was brought from an asylum to shoot for Bidaai. It was crazy and I still laugh a lot whenever I recollect the incident. What is best done slowly: eating or kissing? Eating. Every person needs? Every person needs food. There are people who genuinely live to eat. Those on a diet want to cheat a little and those who eat, want to eat a lot more (laughs). What is something that you need to stop doing immediately? There is nothing as of now. I don’t drink or smoke. So there is nothing I can recollect at the moment. What have you always wanted to do but never done? I have always wanted to grow more and excel in the art of painting. I am a gifted painter and have not been trained in the art. So I want to explore the art more. One word that describes you? Simple.
