Pyaar Mein Twist tipped to go off-air

Star Plus' beauty and the geek tale Pyaar Mein Twist is tipped to go off-air sometime in mid June. Our source informs, “The show was under the scanner for quite a while but now it seems that the channel has taken the final call. The show has not been able to make much of an impact as was expected by the channel. Also the weekend idea has somehow not worked for Star Plus and most of the shows during the weekend slot are falling flat on the TRP charts. The show is expected to go off-air some time mid June. Meanwhile, the lead actors of the show Manish Paul and Roshni Chopra have not been asked for their dates in June. The star cast is even complaining about not getting enough support from the channel and the production house. The show needed a boost and an aggressive marketing strategy that it didn’t get. However, there hasn’t been any official intimation on the same.” We spoke to Manish Paul who says, “I’ve been hearing about the show going off-air for a quite while now. But, I haven’t received any confirmation regarding this.”
