MUMBAI : The fans of Jr NTR and Saif Ali Khan are all waiting very eagerly as they will be going head to head against each other in the upcoming Pan India movie Devara: Part 1 which has become a highly anticipated movie. The movie will mark the Telugu debut for Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan.
As per reports, the film might feature NTR in dual roles, of father and son. When the first look of Jr NTR was revealed, we could see him holding a blood-soaked spear and standing with a fierce look.
Here’s an interesting thing about Devara: Part 1 updates – Last year, on the occasion of Saif Ali Khan’s birthday, the makers revealed his first look from the movie. This year, once again on the actor’s birthday, the makers revealed a glimpse of Saif Ali Khan aka Bhaira from the movie.
Earlier, the makers had released the first glimpse of the movie where we saw Jr NTR’s impressive action sequence.
Now at the trailer launch event of the movie, Jr NTR talked about Devara Part 1 and something really got us all intrigued when he revealed about an RRR connect.
Jr NTR said, “This movie will definitely work. I would call it an action drama, it is extremely high in action. Saif sir would definitely agree with me, there were some physically strenuous action sequences we both have been part of. It is definitely high on action.”
When talking about the action sequences and action directors, Jr NTR, added, “We had Solomon, who’s worked for RRR, national award winner. He has actually extensively worked on the over-water and the under-water sequences of Devara. We shot for about 38 odd days under water and about 60 odd days over water. So that itself was a chunk of a 100 days, 80-100 days.”
The Hindi trailer has been released and is receiving a lot of praise. The movie is set to release on 27th September.
