Akkineni Nagarjuna, the father of Naga Chaitanya, publicly acknowledged the couple's connection on social media by posting joyful photos from their engagement ceremony. Fans flooded social media accounts with congratulations for the newly engaged pair as soon as word of their engagement leaked online.

In the interview when asked about Naga Chaitanya, Sobhita said, “I think his temperament to... I think he's such a cool-headed and calm guy. So dignified, I really appreciate it.”

Speaking of Samantha, she said, “I think her journey is super cool. If you see her filmography, the way she can headline a project right now, it's really cool.”

Dating rumors involving Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala have been circulating since 2022, following their sighted vacationing together in London. His former spouse was Samantha Ruth Prabhu. After four years of marriage, the ex-couple, who got married in 2017, declared their separation.
