It was previously seen how Shrikant says to Rajat that Sonakshi has already been married and this would be her second marriage. Rajat feels heartbroken and betrayed. He calls off the wedding. Sonakshi gets humiliated and decides to leave the venue.
Sonakshi confronts Rajat's family to prove them wrong but now Shrikant has yet another proof against her. He reveals that Sonakshi has a daughter and he has documents that could prove who is the child’s father. Sonakshi is left stunned looking at the document.
In the upcoming episode, Shrikant reveals that Sonakshi had given birth to a girl and the father of that child is none other but Karan Luthra. Preeta reads the document and falls unconscious in shock. She tries to defend her husband but Sonakshi leaves without revealing the truth.
