MUMBAI :Delving into the lives of two strong-willed women from two diametrically opposing societal settings, each inspirational in their respective worlds, Sony Entertainment Television brings viewers a captivating story with ‘Hum Rahein Na Rahein Hum’. The show follows the journeys of Damayanti, the principled traditionalist matriarch of the royal Barot family based in Ranak and Surilii, a vibrant and modern thinking young girl.
Currently, Surilii believes that Shiv kept the divorce papers and wanted her to leave him, when in actuality it was Samar who plotted this fake divorce paper to mislead Surilii.

So, when Ranimaa wants Shiv to bring Surilii back to the palace, the major face-off between Shiv and Surilii doesn't go well. Shiv wants to win Surilii back and so, he even bends on his one knee to apologize to her.
However, Surilii doesn't forgive him because she believes that he took the decision of divorce. Shiv, who doesn't know anything about divorce, assumes that Surili is upset with him over a little argument and misunderstanding.
Thus, the misunderstanding continues. Samar has plotted a huge misunderstanding between Shiv and Surilii, which is succeeding in separating them.
However, will he really succeed?
