MUMBAI: Star Plus show Imlie has been extremely interesting and the audience has been in awe of the drama.
Produced by Gul Khan, it stars Sumbul Touqeer Khan and Gashmeer Mahajani. The series is a loose adaptation of Star Jalsha's Bengali series Ishti Kutum. The narrative revolves around how Aditya lands at a village to report on a gangster and later, situations lead him to get married to Imlie while he is already committed to Malini for marriage. Since he cannot handle the situation well, he ends up getting married to Malini too.

Well, as we all know, in a shocking turn of events, the principal will tell Imlie that he cannot teach a student like Imlie as it is because of her that the college reputation goes down as the name is been taken in every scandal. Now, the entire family will be upset on Imlie as the family reputation will be questioned.
Harish won't be the president anymore and will blame her, Aditya will also lose his job and Imlie will be fired from college. Everyone will be upset on Imlie as she is the one who logged a complaint against Malini and they have to bear the consequences even after Aditya admitted and was willing to pay for the deeds he did not commit.
