India is all set to celebrate its 64 years of becoming a republic, unfortunately the events of the past months have been quite disappointing (Corruption and Delhi rape case etc). But as they say it all depends on how you look at things. Hence this time rather than looking at the glass half empty, we at Tellychakkar.com have decided to look at it as half full. So accordingly, we spoke to a number of TV actors about the positives our great nation has achieved in the past six decades.

It was on 26 January 1950, that the Constitution of India came into force. And today, we are celebrating the 64th year of being Republic. For, had that been the case something like the Delhi gang rape case would have never happened or we wouldn’t have read stories of rapes happening every other day in the papers. Moreover, we would have never been scared of our lawmakers more than the lawbreakers.

Star Plus actors are all set to make their presence felt at the Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon 2013. Yes, you heard it right… so if you are one of the participants then you will come across the gang of actors from Star Plus. As per a reliable source the channel is planning to take their actors to the marathon for the promotion of their shows and also to support the cause. However since, most of their artists are busy shooting today and tomorrow, the final list of participants are yet to get confirmed.

We got in touch with him and asked how the year 2012 treated him? “Well, the year 2012 was very good professionally and personally. I was so busy in shooting that the year passed way very soon.”

The New Year begins in style for duo Ashish Sharma and Archana Taide as they are off on a three day road trip to welcome the year 2013. Ashish who is presently seen in Zee TV’s <em>Rab Se Sohna Isshq</em> and Archana who is in Zee TV’s <em>Qubool Hai</em> had some problems in taking a three day off from their shoot. However, they managed to convince their respective production houses, and took off for the trip on 30 December 2012. They are scheduled to return on 2 January 2013.
