The makers of The Archies organized a special screening of Zoya Akhtar's directorial tonight, December 5 ahead of its release. The event was a star-studded one as several big names from Bollywood graced the screening event.

The fans of Shah Rukh Khan are all excited as they got to see their favourite actor along with his family in the event where he has come to support his daughter.

Suhana plays the keyboardist and one of the three vocalists for the rock band The Archies, Veronica Lodge, a major character in the comics written by Ayesha Devitre Dhillon, Reema Kagti, and Zoya Akhtar.

Suhana Khan, daughter of Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan, is gearing up for her first film, The Archies, directed by Zoya Akhtar. She recently mentioned that she tends to overthink and described herself as an anxious person, sharing that working out helps her cope when she feels overwhelmed.

In an interview, while promoting her Netflix movie, Suhana talked about what supported her when she encountered "hateful remarks" on social media. Suhana, who has 4.4 million Instagram followers, is the daughter of film producer and interior designer Gauri Khan and actor Shah Rukh Khan.

Filmmaker Zoya Akhtar, who is awaiting the release of The Archies, has said that she had second thoughts about casting star kids in the film. Speaking with India Today, Zoya also added that it's ‘weird to not cast someone because their parents are famous’.

Director Zoya Akhtar suggested that the media is being hypocritical about the nepotism debate in the film industry, because it chooses to focus on star-kids even when others can be highlighted.

Zoya Akhtar, on Thursday, launched the trailer of her upcoming Netflix film The Archies. The filmmaker and her frequent collaborator Reema Kagti recently opened up about how they narrowed down the cast of The Archies, starring a bunch of young actors, including Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor, Agastya Nanda, Mihir Ahuja, Vedang Raina, among others.

Abhishek Bachchan is one excited mama today, as his 'bhanja', Agastya Nanda, is all set to make his Bollywood debut with The Archies director Zoya Akhtar along with Suhana Khan and Khushi Kapoor.
