Apurva's first film was Subhash Ghai's Pardes where he starred with King Khan. Later on, Apurva had also acted with Sunny Deol and Mahima Chaudhary in Pyar Koi Khel Nahin. The actor has also shared the screen space with Suneil Shetty in Krodh and Lakeer which also starred John Abraham and Sunny Deol.
