Sana Saeed says she would never back out from TV and reality shows are like crash courses.

Heartthrob Rahil Azam of <em> Hatim </em> and <em> Yeh Meri Life Hai</em> fame is preparing himself to play the challenging lead role in Sony’s popular show<em> Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na.</em> Rahil says, “This is something that I have never done before. It is a very challenging and risky role of a split-personality. I don’t think anyone has attempted something like this ever on television or in films. Though there have been movies based on split personalities but this for sure is different.”

Ratna Sinha, producer of Sony’s <em> Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na </em> roped in director Ismail Umar Khan, who has 360 successful episodes of Zee’s <em> Banoo Main Teri Dulhann</em>. The original director Maqbool couldn’t continue with the show as he was busy with editing and post-production of <em> Kabootar,</em> a movie produced by Ratna Sinha’s husband.

Adi Irani (Aroona Irani’s brother) will enter <em> Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na</em> as Mark Kapoor. Talking about his character, Adi says, “My character Mark Kapoor is a very well known producer similar to the likes of Subhash Ghai and Sanjay Leela Bhansali. He gives breaks to new talent.”

Its wedding season on television and different channels are cashing in on this. Last week the viewers witnessed one of the best off-screen couple Hiten and Gauri Tejwani tie the knot as Karan and Nandini on Star Plus' <em> Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.</em> The couple after much will they won't they finally tied the knot in the presence of their parents and children.

Model turned actor Siddarth Shukla who essays the lead role of Shubh in <em> Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na </em> was scared of his on-screen marriage with the lead actress Aastha Chaudhary. A little birdie from the sets informs, “Siddarth was very uncomfortable while shooting for the marriage sequence. He was not very happy with the Pandit chanting the wedding mantras. He in fact asked the pandit to avoid chanting the authentic mantras as he was scared that he would get married to Aastha for real.”

Weddings can be very tedious and more so if you are required to act and that too dressed in a heavy bridal outfit. And for Aastha Choudhary it was not easy either. She had a very tiring experience during the wedding sequence in <em> Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na.</em> The wedding dress designed by Ritu Deora made her uncomfortable as it was very heavy. “I enjoyed the wedding sequence but it was very exhausting. The most difficult part of this shoot was my heavy costume,” says Aastha.

It is rare to see our lead actors donning female attire to fulfill the demand of the shows. One such actor who did this was Siddharth Shukla lead actor of <em> Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na</em>. It is learnt that Siddharth was not very keen on dressing like a lady. But he had to overcome his apprehension and unwillingness and consent to it after being convinced by the production house.

Holidays are bliss for the television fraternity as more than often they shoot 24x7. But <em> Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na</em> was one such team that got lucky and got a day off. The team has been shooting continuously and getting rave reviews from the viewers.
