Star Plus viewers are in for a new treat! The cast of the lunchtime topping shows <em>Kumkum </em>and <em>Bhabhi </em>are coming together once again to showcase a special event! However this time it is the<em> Kumkum</em> cast which has been invited on the sets of<em> Bhabhi </em>to be a part of their celebration! The episode will air on 17 August. Alpa, who plays Suhana's (Rucha Gujrathi) sister on the show<em>(Bhabhi)</em> is scheduled to get married to Shubham, Tilak's (Manish Goyal) illegitimate child in the special episode. The<em> Kumkum</em> cast has been invited for the wedding.

It's now time for the audience to see a new Bhabhi on Star Plus' <em>Bhabhi</em>. No, it isn't a replacement for Dolly Sohi but a twist instead, to keep the track running after Dolly quit the show for marital bliss in CanadaThe show will now be revolving around Rucha Gujarati who plays Saroj's daughter. "I am certainly going to take over my mother's position in the show. I will take her place as I too have inherited the same ethics and values from her. As I get married to Vishu Chopra, we two will be the leads now," says an excited Rucha.

star-crossed lovers, Saroj and Tilak, who have been apart from each other for more than twenty years, will finally unite and this will happen against the backdrop of a wedding, where Saroj's adopted daughter will get married to her son! UTV's <em>Bhabhi</em> seems to have lots of drama lined up for its viewers in the coming weeks! Saroj is now leading a different life with another family where her adopted daughter from Vivek Seth is going to get married to her son from Tilak. The wedding will be a grand affair spanning over eight episodes. Jaspinder will lend her voice to the show.

Rucha Gujarati, who had been lying low with a bad back for the last 10 days, is back on the sets. Rucha, who was diagnosed with a threatened slipped disc after persistent pain in the lower back, was prescribed complete bed rest. After spending over a week at home, Rucha is back at her shoots since the weekend, partially recovered. "I am better now," she says tentatively, "but I have to take a lot of precautions while working." Besides of course, also try and regulate her working hours.

<em>Kkusum</em> and <em>Bhabhi</em> will both have to wait. <em>Kkusum's</em> Kali and <em>Bhabhi's</em> Suhana has just suffered a slipped disc and has been hospitalised. The petite Rucha Gujarathi was suffering from persistent pain in the lower back for the last four days but continued to report for work. On Wednesday, apparently, the pain got so bad that she was forced to visit a doctor who has recommended bed rest for an entire week. Her condition, she says, is still in the preliminary stages, and can be cured soon.
