Mandar Chandwadkar, popularly known as Bhide of Neela Telefilms’ popular show on SAB TV, <em>Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah</em> is very different from his on screen character. Talking about it, Mandar tells <em>Tellychakkar.com</em>, “I am very happy with the show and my role. I have been loved and appreciated by all. I am not like Bhide in real life. I have come across people like Bhide who are very systematic in life. When I enact a particular sequence, I keep in mind my building secretary who is very punctual and disciplined like Bhide.”

Atmaram Bhide (Mandar Chandwadkar) who is an arrogant professor will be seen bonding with Tappu Sena and celebrating Ganesh Utsav with them. Our source says, "Members of the Gokuldham society will meet in order to discuss how to celebrate <em>Ganesh Chaturthi</em>. During the meeting Jethalal (Dilip Joshi) and others will make fun of Bhide. Bhide will get upset and leave the place.”
