Rupali finally signs on a new show

We caught up with her after a long time. Rupali Ganguli, who shot to fame after her negative act in Star's <em> Sanjivani</em> is all set for a comeback on the small screen. After much coaxing, the actress who had almost done a disappering act after Sony's <em> Bigg Boss</em> revealed that she has signed on a lead role for an untitled show on INX.

Bobby vying to be in Australian Big Brother

After Shilpa Shetty, it's our own<em> Bigg Boss</em> participant Bobby Darling who's auditioning for Australian <em> Big Brother.</em> "Yes," says Bobby, "I felt I got a raw deal here in Bigg Boss, as I was voted out after the first week itself." But she is desperately trying to get into it, though she has not got the green signal as yet. "I need the money for my operation and I will keep trying till I am selected."

Carol Gracias has become busier than before. The dusky beauty after losing out to Rahul Roy in <em> Bigg Boss</em> is on a spree of fashion shows. The model-actor, who is currently in Calcutta for a fashion event spoke about her life after <em> Bigg Boss</em>. Adds Carol, "Ever since my <em> Bigg Boss</em> show came to an end, I have been busy with my modelling assignments. The sad thing is that I haven't been able to take a break that I had planned after the reality show came to an end. Now, I seriously want to take a break."

Is Ravi Kishen disillusioned?

Ravi Kishen Shukla, the Amitabh Bachchan of Bhojpuri film industry, is relieved and relaxed to be out of <em> Big Boss</em> den. Presently holidaying in the romantic hills of Mahabaleshwar with wife Preeti and kids, he is floored with offers from the Bhojpuri and Hindi film industry. He has signed on Ekta Kapoor's Bhojpuri film titled <em> Gabbar Singh</em> where Ravi is playing the lead with Jeetendra as Thakur. This film is pitted against Ram Gopal Verma's version of Sholay where Amitabh plays Gabbar Singh.

Durgesh Nandini's countdown begins!

Sony's reality show <em> Bigg Boss</em> is slated for a wrap up by the end of the week. So, what's going to be replacing this much talked about show? Speculations are rife that Shobhana Desai's <em> Durgesh Nandini</em> is being considered for the 10 pm slot. The promos of the show are currently on air. <em> Durgesh Nandini</em> is adapted from Bankimchandra Chattopadyay's first novel by the same name published in 1865 that has earlier been made into a Bengali and a Hindi film as well.

The celebration is slowly reaching its climax, we mean the New Year's Eve. While most of us are busy planning our celebrations, there are some who won't be able to plan what they would have loved to do. For them life at the moment is obeying the <em> Bigg Boss</em>. Sony's Vaidehi bids adieu!

The middle class girl<em> Vaidehi </em>who stole hearts with her innocence and who was trapped into marrying a wealthy but impotent Aryan Jaisingh, will soon bid adieu by the end of this month. This Sony show, which was launched with huge fanfare under Aroona Irani's AK Films, seemed quite promising but was unable to hook the audience for long. It is learnt that shifting the serial from its original primetime slot of once a week on Tuesdays to a daily soap aired in the 11pm slot witnessed a fall in the TRP ratings.
