With the grand success of their joint venture with Vishesh Films in Raaz 3, Fox Star Studios has set a record of sorts having given five back-to-back successes in <em>Raaz 3, Bol Bachchan, Jannat 2, Titanic 3D</em> and <em>Ice Age 4</em> in the period of the last five months, a feat that no other film studio has achieved this year. With <em>Bol Bachchan</em> , Fox Star announced its grand entry into the 100 cr club while <em>Raaz 3</em> went on to become the biggest horror film to date.

A few days ago we had reported that the workers who constructed the sets of Bol Bachchan were yet to receive wages amounting to over Rs 24 lakhs. All this happened after two of Ashtavinayak (co-producer)’s cheques issued to the Allied Mazdoor Union bounced. It is now heard that director of the movie Rohit Shetty has come to the aid of these labourers. The filmmaker has compensated the workers. In the meantime, the company’s account has been sealed due to an ongoing legal case.
