It is dark below the glitter. Similar is the case of Shri Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Ltd. and Ajay Devgn’s latest comic caper Bol Bachchan. While the film is doing good business all over and has crossed the Rs 100 crore mark, the workers who constructed the sets for the film are yet to receive wages amounting to over Rs 24 lakh.

A petition, objecting to a scene showing Abhishek Bachchan bashing an advocate in a scene from <em>Bol Bachchan</em>, has been filed in a court. According to Manish Purohit, counsel of Mahmood Khan, the petitioner, a scene in the very beginning of the film shows Abhishek Bachchan beating up a lawyer, who was incidentally fighting his case in a court. The scene appeared offensive to Khan and defamatory to the image and prestige of lawyers and the profession of law.

Handsome and talented Abhishek Bachchan is quite excited about Rohit Shetty’s upcoming flick Bol Bachchan, which will release this Friday. He plays a role similar to that of Amol Palekar in yester year movie Golmaal. “I won’t call it a double role. It is more like Bluff Master where I played two characters. Abbas Ali and Abhishek Bachchan are not two different people, but the same person (Abbas) taking on a fictitious identity, for he needs to save his life and job from the hands of the village wrestler, Prithviraj Raghuvanshi (Ajay Devgn).”

Ajay Devgn is on a roll!! After the super success of Singham, he is all set to tickle your comic bone in Rohit Shetty’s <em>Bol Bachchan</em> which is slated to release on 6 July2 012. Talking about his role in the movie (which is inspired by the 1979 super hit film <em>Gol Maal</em>), the actor says, “I play a village wrestler, a strong man who thinks that he can speak English. But the fact is that he is very bad. Since everybody is scared of him, nobody corrects his language”.

Fox Star Studios is gung-ho and very optimistic about their upcoming release Bol Bachchan. Said Fox Star Studios CEO Vijay Singh, “<em>Bol Bachchan</em> couldn’t have come at a better time. It’s a hilarious comedy and an end-to-end entertainer, which will leave audiences asking for more. We have already had a great response to the videos, promos, music and trailers which are on air at the moment.”
