Gumrah season 2 goes daily; first episode to focus on 'exam pressure'

Tellychakkar.com exclusively reported about Channel V’s show Gumrah-The End of Innocence season one coming to an end with its AIDs awareness episode, last week. We have also mentioned about the show coming up with its next season and accordingly we have some good news for our readers. Read on. The makers (Balaji Productions and Lost Boy Productions) are back with <em>Gumrah</em> season 2 and this time it will be aired daily instead of biweekly. It will entertain viewers every Monday to Friday at 8 pm on Channel V from 9 July (2012).

Raja Sevak joins the cast of The Buddy Project on Channel V

Channel V gears up to be known as the youth general entertainment channel, and the launch of Sunshine Productions’ upcoming show <em>The Buddy Project</em> will kick start this trend. <em>The Buddy Project</em> as reported by <em>Tellychakkar.com</em> has Manav Gohil, Shishir Sharma, Gargi Patel. And the story will revolve around eight students played by Fahad Ali, Jatin Sharma, Cheshta Bhagat, Palak Jain, Kunal Kulbhushan Jaisingh, Nikhil Mehta, Krishna Patel and Bharti Kumar.

There is already a buzz in the media about Channel V altering its programming spectrum and turning into a youth fiction, instead of a music channel. It has already tasted success with shows like <em>Dil Dostii Dance, Gumrah</em> and <em>Humse Hai Life</em>. Amit Sareen replaces Ankur Nayyar in Humse Hai Life

Tellychakkar.com had recently reported about Varun Kapoor’s entry in 4 Lions Films’ show on Channel V, Humse Hai Life. We now report a new development from the sets of the show. Ankur Nayyar, who played the role of Coach Karanveer, will no longer be part of the show. The channel and production house have brought in the seasoned actor Ankur Nayyar to essay Sia’s (Abigail Jain) coach now. We tried contacting Amit, but could not get through to him despite making several attempts.
