When you think of a bank robbery, the image you immediately conjure is of a team of ruthless masked hurly burly goons storming into a bank, with huge rifles. They overpower the bankers and customers with threat and violence indeed making it a nightmarish ordeal for them. <em>FIR</em> (Edit II Productions) is however a comedy in which no case is sinister or criminal in nature. Indeed there have been cases on divorce, snoring, bad cooking which have come to the police chowky. Very soon on the show a lively bank robbery case will be telecast in the serial.

One of the most popular shows of SAB TV, <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/fir-become-daily-again>FIR</a> (Edit II Productions) has once again gone back to its basic format where the <em>FIR</em> team finds the culprit together.

SAB TV’s long running cop show <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/kavita-kaushik-get-back-fir>FIR</a> is all set to become a daily again. This Edit 2 production had recently been shifted to the weekend end band due to low TRPs and also to accommodate new show <em>Tota Weds Maina</em> at its daily 10.30 pm slot.

After garnering a tremendous viewer response, SAB TV’s much loved show <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/fir-all-set-take-20-25-years-leap>FIR</a> (Edit 2 Productions) is all set to take an exciting 20-year leap. Soon after the leap, <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/short-takes/i-dont-want-change-anything-about-myself-chitrashi-rawat>Chitrashi Rawat</a> will be seen as Jwalamukhi Chautala the lead protagonist of the show.

Chitrashi Rawat who entered <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/kashmera-shah-iss-jungle-se-mujhe-bachao>Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao</a> as a wild card entrant hasn’t found the going good. The <em>Chak De</em> girl hadn’t been able to make her way to the viewers’ hearts and landed herself in the <em>Maha</em> jungle challenge as she couldn’t garner enough votes. Chitrashi found herself amongst the bottom two with the other wild card entrant,Jay Bhanushali.

It looks that television’s bad boys and girls are switching to comedy for an image changeover. Apart from Kamya Punjabi, it’s now bad guy Akashdeep Sehgal who will be seen in the second season of <em> Comedy Circus.</em> Giving them company is veteran actress Apara Mehta. Apart from them there is Sayantani Ghosh (the <em> Ichadhari Naaginn</em>), the youngest member of the Indian hockey team in <em> Chak De India,</em> Komal Chautala (Chitrashi Rawat) and poet Shailesh Lodha.
