Chashme Baddoor ushers in a new trend with Dhichkyaaon Doom Doom

When it’s a David Dhawan film, entertainment is guaranteed. After receiving tremendous response for Ishq Mohallah, the team of <em>Chashme Baddoor</em> has launched a brand new song <em>Dhichkyaaon Doom Doom</em> that ushers in a fun quotient rarely seen in a film. As funny as the title sounds, the song promises far more quirkiness. The song in mention is already a huge hit on radio with people humming the song and requesting for it to be played on FM stations consistently.

Sai Paranjpye's Chashme Buddoor all set to clash with David Dhawan's remake

The war between the remake and original just got hotter. In an overnight decision PVR Films have decided to refurbish and re-release the original <em>Chashme Buddoor</em> directed by Sai Paranjpye on same Friday April 5 as David Dhawan’s remake. This decision has surprised many from David’s team.

David Dhawan's Chashme Buddoor to hit the silver screen on 5 April

David Dhawan’s Chashme Buddoor, a remake of the hit 1981 film of the same name, will tentatively release on 5 April this year (2013). The film is all about friends Sid, Jai and Omi (Ali Zafar, Siddharth and Divyendu Sharma respectively) who live together in a small house in Goa. While Omi and Jai go for the women in Goa, Sid, on the other hand, lives a straight and normal life.

David Dhawan wants his children to take the "legacy" forward

The entire Dhawan family has decided to set aside its other commitments to focus on the younger Dhawan scion Varun’s debut next month. Never known to be exceedingly religious David and his wife flew to Rishikesh on Wednesday to pray for Varun’s film. Describing the trip David said, “We had gone to do <em>aarti</em> in Rishikesh. I’ve never prayed for my own career. But when it comes to one’s children one’s attitude to everything from God and destiny to luck and good fortune, changes.”
