This serial talks about parenting and the difficulties parents face while raising their children. The show highlights everything from mindset of kids to teenage issues. Production house DJ’s A Creative Unit’s association with Zee TV goes back a long way. Its last venture on the channel, <em>Choti Bahu</em> season 2, worked really well with the masses. Now, the makers are coming up with another project on Zee, which will have a Marathi background. Our sources have informed that it has been christened <em>Kamla Bai</em> as of now. The name might see a change if the creatives feel so. “But as of now it is <em>Kamla Bai</em>,” added the source. Furthermore, the lead role of Kamla Bai will be played by Bollywood actress Shilpa Shirodkar.

Tellychakkar.com exclusively reported about DJ’s A Creative Unit coming up with a Punjabi backdrop family drama on Star Plus. The makers have roped in renowned faces for the project namely, Supriya Pilgaonkar, Kanwaljeet Singh, Ulka Gupta, Kanchi Kaul, amongst others. The latest we have learnt is that the show has got its title. It has been christened, Sher Dil Shergil. Shergill will be the family’s surname. Moreover, we also wrote about the crew shooting for its pilot episode. And guess what? The pilot has been approved by the channel and the show will soon go on floors.

There is already a buzz in the media about Channel V altering its programming spectrum and turning into a youth fiction, instead of a music channel. It has already tasted success with shows like <em>Dil Dostii Dance, Gumrah</em> and <em>Humse Hai Life</em>. Television fraternity knows Harshavardhan Rane as Rummy Gaur from SAB TV’s youth show Left Right Left produced by DJ’s A Creative Unit. After the show ended, Harshavardhan eyed the big screen and bagged a film down South, wherein he shared screen space opposite Genelia Dsouza. His work was appreciated and he went on to bag a Bollywood thriller film directed by Ravi Babu. And this handsome lad has only one goal in life… to experiment and keep spreading his wings.

Currently in DJ’s A Creative Unit’s show Parvarrish- Kuchh Khattee Kuchh Meethi on Sony Entertainment Television, viewers are witnessing the sequence wherein Rocky (Tapasavi Mehta) and Ravee (Anchal Munjal) are taking their exams. Now, exams are always a critical part of any young boy or girl’s life and in order to get good marks, students resort to fair as well as unfair means. In the show, one of Rocky’s friends will happen to be weak in studies and will be unable to focus on lessons due to family problems. Rocky will decide to help him out.

Sad news for the fans of Zee TV’s <em>Choti Bahu</em> produced by DJ’s A Creative Unit. The show is all set to say goodbye as the channel has decided to pull the plug on it. Yes, <em>Choti Bahu</em> is going off and its last shooting date is 17 May 2012. Our sources have informed that the makers approached the channel with the proposal of shifting it to the 6.30pm slot, but received an answer in negative. Then they again sent a proposal stating to make <em>Choti Bahu</em> a bi-weekly. The channel resented to give a nod the second time round also.
