For a change, Neil Nitin Mukesh to play IPS officer in Dussehra

In most of his films starting from Adlabs’ Johny Gaddar, Neil Nitin Mukesh has been seen as a gangster. But, to bring in a change, the actor will be seen essaying the role of an IPS officer attached to the crime branch in Rash Production Pvt. Ltd’s <em>Dussehra</em> produced by Aparna Hoshing and directed by Manish Vatsalya.

Neil Nitin Mukesh signs his first cop film

Going by the latest trend when all the major leading men are turning up to do cop roles like Salman Khan in <em>Dabangg</em>, Aamir Khan in <em>Talaash</em>, Akshay Kumar in <em>Rowdy Rathore</em> and Ajay Devgn in <em>Singham</em>, Neil Nitin Mukesh too has joined the bandwagon. He will play the man in the uniform in the Manish Vatsalya-directed film <em>Dussehra</em>. Confirming the same, an excited Neil says, “Yes, I am playing a cop in the film. It is going to be an action loaded affair.”

No theatres for Vashu Bhagnani , Shailendra Singh postpone the release of their films

The rush of releases this festive season is taking its toll on the box-office. Three films proved too much of a burden for the theatres to bear this Dussehra season. Two of the scheduled films, the late Shamim Desai’s <em>Rush</em> and Sanjay Gadhvi’s <em>Ajab Gazabb Love</em> have now been postponed from their scheduled Wednesday release this week (24 October) to Friday 26 October.
