Sheezan was arrested and in custody after the actress’s suicide in December. He was released on bail by a local court of Maharashtra on March 4.

Now, after 70 days in custody, Sheezan Khan has been released on bail. After being released from Thane Central Jail, Sheezan was seen hugging his family.

Sheezan’s lawyer Sharad Rai opposed the abetment of suicide charge of Tunisha. He asked that his client should be released on bail. The actor was arrested in December 2022 under section 306 of the Indian Penal Code (abetment of suicide) and there was no relief for him.

Now, the Waliv police officers have submitted a 524 page chargesheet to the Vasai court against actor Sheezan Khan for abetting his co-star Tunisha Sharma’s suicide in December 2022.

Sheezan has been in judicial custody and his sisters Falaq and Shafaq Naaz and mother are trying to prove him innocent. Now the latest update suggests that reportedly, Sheezan’s lawyer has moved to Bombay High Court.

Sheezan Khan’s bail was rejected from Palghar court earlier this month. His sister and actress Falaq Naaz has now been hospitalized.

Sheezan Khan’s family had recently come out in public, marking their first time taking a stand and talking to people. A lot of things were revealed at that point of time and many actors had shown in their support.

According to Sheezan’s lawyer, Tunisha had joined a dating app post their break up and was dating someone called Ali. Vanita Sharma, Tunisha’s mother, denied the claims, saying that they were just friends.
