Call it an eerie coincidence, but after <em>Rock On</em> gave its actors Farhan Akhtar and Arjun Rampal a serious alternative career-option in music and stage performance, director Abhishek Kapoor’s new film <em>Kai Po Che</em> has turned one of its leading men Sushant Singh Rajput into a quasi-professional cricketer. Rajput plays an aspiring cricketer in <em>Kai Po Che</em>. Hours of grueling training with experts in the field (pun intended) and with winners of the Ranji trophy in the game have turned Sushant Rajput into a diehard cricket buff.

Don dons his garb

Champagne and starters were in full flow as Sunjoy Wadhwa marked the launch of his new show, Don on Star One in Mangi Ferra in suburban Mumbai last weekend. The stage was set for a perfect evening with waiters dressed up in Don avatars. Parmeet Sethi came in early with kids in tow. Present at the launch were Riva Babbar, Shilpa Saklani, Ritu Choudhury, Sonal Pendse, Maninee De, Moulli Ganguly, Sonia Kappor, Sumeet Raghavan, Smita Bansal, Manav Gohil and Shweta Kawatra and Niki Aneja ith hubby Sonny.
