Fauji
You can’t expect anything that involves the Badshah of Bollywood to be a plain affair…it has to be real grand. This time around Shah Rukh Khan will be seen on the tube in his dream project, a sequel to Fauji 2, which will soon hit airwaves on Colors. Shah Rukh himself will make a heroic entry in the show.
As per sources SRK is currently shooting for the show today and it will be a flashback sequence.

Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Idiot Box is set produce Fauji for Colors. The search for the reel cadets have begun. Tiger, son of Bollywood star Jackie Shroff, was offered to play one of the leading roles but the junior Shroff declined.
Citing his reason for refusal, Tiger says, “I’m not doing Fauji</a,/em>. My father told me an offer came in for some TV show but I rejected it. As of now, I’m more an athlete than an actor. I’m still too young to take up acting.”

We had first reported that Shah Rukh Khan is producing Fauji – the show that announced the arrival of King Khan himself in 1988. Contrary to earlier speculation where it was buzzed that the show will air on NDTV Imagine, Fauji is now all set to launch on Colors. Col.Kapoor, who had conceptualised, produced and acted in the original series, has handed over the production reigns to Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Idiot Box.

No no, King Khan hasn't been signed for any melodramatic soap nor is he taking part in some reality show. The good news is for all those viewers who had missed or want to re-experinece the opportunity to watch the juvenile Shahrukh in his first ever TV show, Fauji.
This time around, Sahara One will be bringing alive this popular series that gave Shahrukh's career a shot in the arm.

After toiling for four years, it was finally D day for journalist-scriptwriter Mushtaq Sheikh. The writer is well-known in the TV circles for penning scripts for Balaji Telefilms, and also for his close association with the queen of soaps, Ekta Kapoor.
