Looks like Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who after his debut film Kahaani has been bagging roles right, left and centre. And now after he made his mark in Anurag Kashyap’s Gangs Of Wasseypur 2, National award winning director Mangesh Hadawle has signed the actor to essay a mute character in Dekh Indian Circus.
The film highlights the problems faced by a family staying in a village in Rajasthan and the aspirations of rural India.

Starring: Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Huma Quereshi, Richa Chadda, Rajkumar Yadav, Zeishan Quadri
Directed by Anurag Kashyap
Rating: ****
If you try to count the numbers of bullets that are fired at unsuspecting victims in the ferociously violent world inhabited by Anurag Kashyap’s trigger-happy goons, you might end up cross-eyed. Caught in the crossfire of vendetta and redemption the characters of Gangs Of Wasseypur 2 are so on-the-edge they don’t fear the abyss that awaits them at the end of their vengeful voyage.

Though he’s playing Dawood Ibrahim’s brother Sabir in Shootout At Wadala, Manoj Bajpai’s entire look in the film has been modelled on Pablo Escobar, the Colombian drug lord who was killed gruesomely in 1993.
The resemblance to the notorious crime-lord is so uncanny that director Sanjay Gupta claims one can switch pictures of Escobar with Bajpai’s Wadala look without anyone being able to tell the difference.
Escobar’s look, we may add, has been the source of inspiration for generations of Columbian youngsters.

Richa Chadda is all set to take over the reins of her dead husband’s empire in Gangs Of Wasseypur 2.
The film’s encouraging opening has galvanized the film’s producers Viacom 18 and Sunil Bohra to plan the release of the second part of the Wasseypur saga where the character played by Nawazuddin Siddiqui takes over his father’s crime empire in Wasseypur.
