Talented actress Sayantani Ghosh who was last seen doing a cameo in Sony court room drama <em>Adaalat</em> has finally grabbed a biggie. She is now playing the lead role in new channel Life Ok’s show <em>Meri Maa</em>. Says Sayantani: “It is a very emotional and very performance-oriented role and those in the channel who have seen the early episodes are also impressed by my work.”

He turned his back on one of the most popular Balaji series <em>Ghar Ek Mandir</em> at the height of its popularity in 2001. He's been out of the spotlight for a while, but that doesn't seem to bother the suave Ram Kapoor. He chooses his roles with care, and his return to TV as ACP Prithvi Singh in telefilm Bali on Star One next weekend is a handpicked selection. "I have been a Prahlad Kakkar flunkey for three years almost a decade ago, and I just couldn't resist working with his banner this time round," laughs the actor.
