Sid Makkar, better known as Satyakaam of<em> Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyaan</em> is back on television with the brand new show </em>Mere Apne on 9X</em>. He is going to essay the role of Shankar in the show. Elaborating on the character he says, “I’m playing the character of a raw, rugged action- oriented guy, a spoilt brat of a son to <em>Smriti Irani</em> and Vinod Khanna. Besides that I also sport a new look, with a beard and long hair, unconventional in today's shows as we see.”

Jasvir Kaur aka Pavitra of <em> Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyaan</em> is all set to enter films. The bubbly actress is making a debut in a Malayalam movie with super star Mamooty. She has also bagged a cameo in a Bollywood venture. ??€?“I have done one song in a Malayalam film with Mamooty. It was a great experience working with him,??€Â? says Jasvir.

The singer-turned-actor Twinkle Bajpai aka Lakshmi of Zee's <em> Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyaan</em> is ready to rock Surat. Twinkle- a product of <em> Sa Re Ga Ma Pa</em> is gearing for a live show during navratri with music maestro Ismail Darbar. Apparently, the actress has also recorded a song for two films. She says, "I'm going to perform in Surat next week with Ismailji. Both of us have decided to sing Gujarati songs. He's my biggest guiding force and it'll be great to sing with him." While shooting for a daily soap, isn't it difficult to squeeze out time for live shows?
