Yesterday (6 June 2012), a shockwave hit TV fans when the news of Giaa Maanek aka Gopi bahu being thrown out of Star Plus’ show Saath Nibhana Saathiya made it to the headlines. Yes, Giaa will no longer be seen as the saree clad, timid and beautiful Gopi bahu in the soap. The makers (Rashmi Sharma Telefilms) have replaced her with Devoleena Bhattacharjee. Devoleena was earlier seen in Imagine TV’s Preeto.

We all love Giaa Maanek aka Gopi bahu. This lovely lady won the Best Actress in a Lead Role award in the 11th Indian Telly Awards. Now, in her show Rashmi Telefilms’ Saath Nibhana Saathiya on Star Plus, viewers have been witnessing constant fights between Anita (Iira Soni) and Gopi (Giaa Manek) and the entire family knows about the tiff between the two.
