Reality show singers may not figure in Bollywood charts but they do find alternate ways to remain in the limelight. One such option is hosting. Rahul Vaidya, Vineet Singh, Abhaas, Mouli Dave are prime examples of this. Aneek Dhar has now joined this list. The <em>Sa Re Ga Ma Pa</em> Challenge 2007 champion is all set to host <em>Sa Re Ga Ma Pa</em> Bangla. Confirming the news, Aneek says, “I will be hosting <em>Sa Re Ga Ma Pa </em>(Bangla). The shooting commences from August 25.”

Shekhar Suman is currently on a producing and hosting spree. Not long ago, we’d reported that he’ll do a show for NDTV Imagine. Now news has it that Shekhar will produce and host a game show called <em> Jo Bole Woh Maalamal </em> for Sony SAB. A source says, “Shekhar is hosting a game show for Sony SAB. From what I’ve learnt it is the same show <em> Nilaam Ghar Ghar Bid Bid Boom,</em> which used to earlier air on Zee TV.”

The new host on the block is Karan Mehra. The actor will be soon hosting a new reality show<em> Saas v/s Bahu</em> to be aired on Sahara One “Well I have accepted to host this show as it has a very unique concept,” says Karan. In order that he excels in his new job Karan is doing some homework. “I have begun taking tips from the production house on hosting. Besides that I have been going through some videos too. For now I’m very nervous and happy,” he adds.

Even the very popular and most awaited reality shows that have stepped in their second or third seasons are feeling the heat of the competition and in the process come up with innovative ideas to be on top of the heap. In keeping with this mood Zee has introduced a reality series on its hit show <em> Saregamapa</em> . This reality series will air on Sundays from 10:00 pm to 11:00 pm and will be hosted by actor Vipul Roy who was last seen in <em> Salam Zindgi </em>. It is reported that Vipul will also be seen in Star Plus’s late night show<em> Lake House</em> to be aired at 11:30 pm.

Balaji’s reality show <em> Kaun Jeetega Bollywood Ka Ticket</em> is set to hit television screens from 6th July at 8:00 pm. The hour long show will give a dream launch-pad to the winning team to do a film which will be jointly produced by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji and Suniel Shetty’s Popkorn Entertainment which will be titled <em> Generation Next</em>.

While the world awaits the launch of Ekta Kapoor’s two reality shows,we have big news on one of them. Rakshanda Khan and Sachin Tyagi have been roped in as hosts of <em> Kabhie Yaar Kabhie Pyaar</em>, Ekta's upcoming reality show on Sony. When contacted, Sachin Tyagi had this to say, “Well, I have received the offer for hosting the show but nothing has been confirmed yet. It’s too early to reveal anything.” Rakshanda Khan was unavailable for comment.

In an attempt to add in more spice on the celeb studded dance based reality show <em> Yeh Hai Jalwa</em> , the channel and the production house has decided to rope in Bhojpuri superstar Ravi Kissen. It is reported that the actor who will be seen on tomorrow’s episode, promoting his upcoming <em> flick Woodstock Villa</em>. 9X and Bonnie Jain of Eternal Dreams, the production house, were so impressed with his hosting talent that they have now got him on the show as the third host.

Just when the speculations were rife as to who would replace Shaan in Star<em> Voice of India-Chottey Ustad</em>, the news was confirmed by Shaan himself in an exclusive interview to tellychakkar.
