After Sony's Rishton Ki Dor was abruptly pulled off air, gorgeous Sampada Vaze went missing from the scene for sometime. Now, she's been roped in to play lead in Hum Tum that's going to be aired on Zee Next.
"I'm excited to be a part of the show as it's not a run of the mill kind of a role. I want to continue doing glamorous roles." utters Sampada
Elaborating on her character she says, "I'm portraying the character of Sana- a Bollywood star who falls in love with Sachin Sharma, a middle class guy. It's a very snobbish and inbuilt character."

A lot of eyebrows were raised when Sony pulled in Tony and Deeya Singh in from the wilderness (their last well known works were Just Mohabbat and Banegi Apni Baat) to make Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin.
But it proved to be more than a good decision. Just four days old, Jassi… had people talking about the plain Jane (who plays the protagonist in the Indianised version of the Columbian Yo Soy Betty La Fea) and the theme which is novel in a country whose satellite television is obsessed with glamour, beauty, eyelid-batting heroines and kitchen politics.
