Singer Rahul Vaidya recalled being a contestant in the first season of the singing reality show 'Indian Idol' and how he got shivers before any performance. He also added that people often associate him with the show only.

The judges have been criticized for over acting and sometimes exaggerating a situation a tad too much.

<p>The audience is fed up with the makers’ idea of repeating contestants in different reality shows and they have raised questions about the same.</p>

<p>The TRP game and the unnecessary sympathy which the judges give to the contestants is something not acceptable. Many have said that such reality shows are just extended versions of saas-bahu drama which do not make sense at times.</p>
