Colors’ <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/review-colors-sanskaar-dharohar-apnon-ki><em>Sanskaar – Dharohar Apnon Ki</a></em> is presently witnessing the manner in which the foreign-bred Bhoomi (Shamin Mannan) is adjusting herself into the joint family of her husband Kishan (Jay Soni). The girl has to go through the nine agnipareekshas of Ansu Baa (Aruna Irani) to prove herself as the worthy daughter-in-law of the house.

The grandmother – grandchild duo – Ansu Ba aka Aruna Irani and Jaikishen aka Jay Soni of Sanskaar fame stepped out to meet the Cancer patients of V Care foundation in a bid to cheer them up.

Talented actor Jay Soni is satisfied with the progress of his recently launched show on Colors, <em>Sanskaar – Dharohar Apnon Ki</em>. Says the actor, “The concept is something fresh. Tell me, is there any show on television which is male-oriented. Sanskaar traces the journey of my character (Jaikishan) who despite going abroad does not lose his cultural moorings. We also depict the difficulties an immigrant has in a different socio-cultural setup.”

After almost a week after it started beaming, the story of <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/hemant-thatte-all-set-do-cameo-sanskaar>Sanskaar – Dharohar Apnon Ki</a> (Anahita/ Cinemantra Productions) is finally starting to take shape. We have all seen that Jay Kishen (<a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/conversation-jay-soni-his-new-show-colors-sanskaardharohar-apno-ki>Jay Soni</a>) has landed in the US, but the start has not been that easy for this boy from India in a foreign land.

This is yet another serial which deals with family values, challenges and the lead hero’s life journey and everything in between…only this time it works. Yes, we are talking about Colors’ latest tango with the soap world, <em>Sanskaar Dharohar Apnon Ki</em> which kissed small screens yesterday (14 January 2013). The show is produced by Anahita Productions and Cinemantra.

<strong>A page from the personal diary of Jay Soni</strong> Hello everyone… I am Jay Soni whom you all recognize as Ishaan from Star Plus’ <em>Sasural Genda Phool</em>. I also made a wild card entry in Colors’ <em>Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa</em> season 5. To begin with, let me a talk a little about myself. Born in Mumbai, I was later sent to Gujarat from where I completed my schooling from St Fransis Convent School. Then again, I shifted to Mumbai where I did my graduation from Mithibai College. Here, I am staying here with my parents and two younger siblings (brothers).
