Here’s some news from the house of SAB TV. Well…the channel is up for some programming change. Its high profile show <em>Baal Veer</em> has already hit the screens yesterday (8 October 2012) and the latest we have learnt is that the broadcaster has decided to allot 9.30 pm slot to Giaa Maanek’s upcoming show <em>Jeannie Aur Juju</em>. A credible source who chose to remain anonymous said that the show is all set to go on air by end of this month (October 2012). So what does it mean for the current 9.30pm slot owner <em>R K Laxman Ki Duniya</em>? Will it draw curtains?

But before getting into the grueling work schedule, she is all set to take off for a short holiday with her parents to Bangkok. “Since I had started shooting for <em>Saath Nibhaana Saathiya</em> (she recently opted out of this Star Plus show), I have not been able to find time for even a weekend getaway to Lonavala (nearby hill station).”

Giaa Maanek is very excited to play a genie in the upcoming SAB TV show Jeannie Aur Juju. “She is very beautiful and takes you to a different make-belief word with her magic,” she describes of her character. What made you say yes to this project? “It is very important to play a character which excites me. While other actors’ tom tom that their characters are unique, I really have achieved that status being the first person to essay a genie on desi TV. To get into the role, I watched <em>I Dream of Jeannie</em> on which this show is based,” Giaa says.

Yesterday (6 September 2012), we wrote about <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/ashiesh-roy-roped-jeannie-aur-juju-sab-tv>Ashiesh Roy</a> being roped in for the project to play the role of Chatur Sen. Furthermore, the latest we have learnt is that Jhumma Mitra and Harsh Khurana has also been brought on board.

Eagle Film’s new show Jeannie Aur Juju on SAB TV is all set to go on air from this month (September). The news has already hit the headlines about Giaa Maanek be playing the character of Jeannie in the project. Furthermore, rib-tickler Ali Asgar will play the character of Vicky master. And the latest we have heard is that actor <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/ashiesh-roys-sab-tv-awards-nomination>Ashiesh Roy</a> has also been signed to play an important role in the series. Ashiesh is also currently seen in <em>Sasural Simar Ka</em> produced by Rashmi Sharma Telefilms (Colors).
