The doctor will reveal in front of Aniruddh and the entire Bose family that Jhanak has stomach cancer and this leaves everybody in shock. It is later seen that Jhanak is actually not pregnant and all the symptoms are actually of a tumour developing inside her.

Jhanak will be seen feeling very vulnerable as she has lost her baby and Aniruddh, on the other hand, will try to calm Jhanak down. He will ask her not to take stress and will also apologise to her for his inhuman behaviour.
