MUMBAI : Actor Johnny Depp has put in a request to delay the $50 million defamation trial because it overlaps with his shooting schedule.
Depp has requested that hearing in his lawsuit against former wife Amber Heard be pushed, because the dates clash with his filming schedule of the upcoming "Fantastic Beasts 3", reports deadline.com.

Johnny and Amber have been all guns blazing as accusations after accusations pop up in lengthy statements to the high court in London. In recent updates, Heard claimed that Depp would accuse her of having an affair with all her co-stars including Liam Hemsworth and Channing Tatum, who she worked with in Paranoia and Magic Mike XXL, respectively.

The actor's former wife Amber Heard also reached the court with regards to the libel case. The lawyer of the Pirates of the Caribbean actor, David Sherborne reportedly said that the legal case is not about money but is about clearing the actor's name from being a wife beater.
