She may have snubbed <em> Jhoom India</em>, but legendary singer Asha Bhonsle has agreed to be a <em>‘Mahaguru’ </em> for the remaining episodes of Sony’s <em> K for Kishore. </em> The competition which is now down to its final five contestants will have Asha as the <em> Mahaguru </em> in addition to the existing jury panel of Bappi Lahiri, Sudesh Bhonsle and Amit Kumar. Surprisingly, why is it that Asha wasn’t there on the show earlier? Executive VP and Business Head Sony Albert Almeida says “On the contrary, what’s the harm in having her for the final five episodes?”

It was his love for the great Kishore that brought Amit Paul to Sony’s <em> K for Kishore</em>. However, the <em> Indian Idol</em> 3 finalist incurred the wrath of other challengers after he was selected for the next round, without even having performed.

There is a big surprise in store for viewers of <em> K for Kishore</em>. Marathi singer Milind Ingle will be joining the show as a celebrity contestant. The singer is the wild card entrant who won the Tata Indicom contest. Milind is a multi-talented singer. "I have always sung my own compositions. On <em> K for Kishore</em> too I’m going to sing my own compositions but in Kishore da's style,” says Milind.

Some of the most die hard Kishore Kumar fans are currently displaying their passion for the singer on <em> K for Kishore</em>. However, those who haven’t made it to the show aren’t shying away either. 39-year-old Romit Majumdar is one such hardcore Kishore fan.

Babul Supriyo is all set to co-host Sony's <em> K for Kishore</em> with Rajeshwari Sachdev . As reported earlier Babul was participating in NDTV Imagine??€�s <em> Dhoom Macha De</em> and so he could not go ahead with <em> K for Kishore</em>. But now everything is sorted out and Babul is co-hosting the show from the third episode.

Babul Supriyo who was the original choice as host on music based reality show <em> K for Kishore</em> on Sony opts out it is Rajeshwari Sachdev who fills in. It is reported that backed out as he is to all set to participate in NDTV Imagine??€�s <em>Dhoom Macha De</em>.

Its raining reality shows on Sony Entertainment Television. As <em> Jhalakh Dikhhla Jaa </em> draws to an end, the channel is all set to replace it with two more reality shows. The two new reality shows <em> K for Kishore</em> and <em> Chaal Baaz No.1</em> are geared to hit the channel soon.
