After playing the villainous Rishab Lamba in Ravi Chopra's <em> Viraasat,</em> actor Aman Verma has not been seen on our television screen these days. As the buzz goes, he was last approached by Balaji to essay the role of Om in<em> Kahaani Ghar Ghar ki </em> but for reasons unknown it didn't work out. "After <em> Viraasat</em>, I haven't received any interesting character oriented roles. I'm in no hurry and will wait till some plum role comes my way. After constantly working on daily soaps for eight years, I'm enjoying this much needed break."

It's not an easy decision for Navin to step into Jeetu Malkani's shoes as Pranay in <em> Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki.</em> But just a few days down the line, Navin is smiling away through his villainous act in the show. The dude, who's a<em> khoj of Zee's Cinestars ki Khoj </em> is not at all anxious about playing a strong negative character.

"I was not sacked from Kahaani…" Jeetu Malkani

After the media reports of Jeetu Malkani aka Pranay being sacked from <em> Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki,</em> we at Tellychakkar.com got his side of the story. It was reported that the actor was not upto the mark and the creative team wasn't too happy with his performance. "The reports of me being sacked are completely false. I've been down with jaundice since the last few days. My condition was bad yet I continued shooting. I couldn't handle the pressure and so I let Balaji's creative team take the final call," Jeetu sighs.

Ali Asgar turns producer!

Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyaan… Changing tracks?.

It's going good for Zee TV once again. The channel has managed to rope in audiences with <em> Saat Phere</em> and<em> Kasamh Se</em> which have proved to be a real competition for the rival channels. Now, it's the turn of <em> Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyaan,</em> which was launched with a lot of fanfare to counter Star's <em> Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki</em> in the 10 pm slot. A few months back the show invited a lot of flak for its regressive representation of women but now it seems to be getting on the right track. Now, its back in news once more.
