Recently, there were reports in the media that Mahesh Thakur of <em>Sasural Genda Phool</em> on Star Plus has been finalised to play the father’s role in the soap. However, the latest news that <em>Tellychakkar.com</em> has gathered is that it is not Mahesh Thakur but Kanwaljit Singh who will be seen playing the father’s role. Kanwaljit was earlier seen in <em>Sabki Laadli Bebo</em> on Star Plus.
