Khamoshiyaan
Mrunal Thakur, better known as Gauri Bhonsle of Star Plus’ Khamoshiyaan, left her BMM studies on the back burner to live her childhood dream of becoming an actor. However, the actress hasn’t given up on her studies yet and she will complete her graduation sometime next year.
In a conversation with Tellychakkar.com, Mrunal detailed about herself, her character and her being a diehard fan of her co-star Mohit Sehgal’s character Samrat in Star One’s one-time popular show Miley Jab Hum Tum.

All started with reports of a certain Gauri Bhonsle, a girl from London being missing. Hoardings all over the city of Mumbai aroused curiosity amongst the lay man, but the thought of this being a promotional campaign for a television show never crossed the minds of people who saw it. Going by this, we have to say that the channel and makers did succeed in raising awareness about Gauri Bhonsle, even before the serial began…

Time for some clarification…folks!!!
Yesterday (27 September 2012), Tellychakkar.com carried a story which mentioned that shooting of Trilogy Krikos’ upcoming show for Star Plus, Khamoshiyaan, has been stalled due to cash crunch issue. The news created ripples in the industry water, and earlier in the day we received a call from Rohit Vaid, Founder and Managing Director of Trilogy Krikos, and he went ahead to clear the air from the production house’s perspective.

Star Plus’ Khamoshiyaan, jointly produced by Trilogy Krikos and Thoughtrain Entertainment has been in the news for its extensive cast and storyline. Recently a certain section of the media reported that the actors of Khamoshiyaan (Star Plus), which also stars TV heartthrob Mohit Sehgal, are apparently unhappy as they do not have a clear picture on their characters and launch of the show.

News, news! And the breaking news is that Playtime Creations' Ruk Jaana Nahin (Star Plus) will be going off air in mid September (2012). We hear that this show will make space for Trilogy Krikos and Thoughtrain Productions' Khamoshiyaan starring Mohit Sehgal and Manit Joura as leads.
Earlier it was speculated that Khamoshiyaan would get a prime time slot, but the channel has now decided to give it an early evening slot of 6.30pm. With this, curtains will be drawn on Ruk Jaana Nahin which never really took off. The recent rating of the show is 0.8 TVR.
